FAQ

Will you hold a place for my child?

Places on all of our courses, can not be saved without payment.

You pay for the place and not attendance and places for all our courses are allocated on a first come first served basis. As such fees are not refundable nor transferable. If problematic you are advised to take out insurance in case of potential cancellation on your part. For all Fundays, you will get confirmation of both your application and payment immediately after submitting, by email

Can I book for the first day and see how it goes for the rest of the course?

NO   We now have designed our courses to avoid the 'separate day / part day option'.  By booking the course, you will also be guaranteed a trophy on the last day

Once I have submitted my application and payment, how will I know if my child has a place + what do they need?

If you apply online., you will receive confirmation of your place and payment immediately by email. This includes a checklist of everything your child need to bring with them. We ask you to keep both emails in case of any misunderstandings later. If you have not received this within 5 days of submitting, please email me. Your checklist has been written in consultation with parents. ie Don't buy boots unless you know you child is committed to football, we normally start the day in trainers, what to bring food and drinkwise, clothing etc..This also includes directions and dropping off info.

Does my child have to attend the whole course?

If you book and pay for the course you are not obliged to attend each day. We guarantee your place. If you have family commitments or want a break for a day or half day, that's fine. You will still get the trophy on the last day, [subject to good behaviour!]

My child is young and relatively inexperienced, I am not sure whether 5 hours football will be too much for him/her

All of our activities are age appropriate. As a teacher I am used to pitching at the correct level. The children, especially the younger ones, are not on their feet for 5 hours. They are expected to remain seated in between all activities. We will ensure that they very much enjoy the experience. They have lots of supervised breaks  and are allowed to use the 'relatively healthy snacks'  tuck shop for refuelling !!

THIS AND OTHER CHILDRENS PACKED LUNCHES, MAY INVOLVE PRODUCTS  CONTAINING NUTS.

We even insist upon age related bedtimes, which are greatly appreciated by parents!

Around 90 per cent of our older children started when much younger and have continued to return!

It is clearly very much in our mutual interests to ensure that noone is overtired and that everyone has a good time!

WHAT IF IT'S RAINING?

We are outdoors and children are expected to come with appropriate clothing, which are all itemised on the checklist [see above]. We do, however, have pergolas for breaks during showers. In previous years, if torrential, we have gone in the gym or changing rooms at Kings. At Churchill we often have access to the changing rooms and club house At Clevedon we have access to a classsroom [ all subject to availability].
The children have such a good time that our biggest problem is stopping them from playing!
